Resizing pictures in Windows XP

Postby broncomarc » Wed Mar 12, 2008 5:39 pm

The easiest way to resize pictures is to use the Image Resizer Microsoft XP Powertoy. You can download it with this link : Image Resizer

Click the link and tell it to Run the program. Once it is installed you can right click on a picture and you will then have the option to resize it. You can also select multiple pictures, then right click on them and resize them as a batch.

Once you select resize you will get some options. I suggest using the Medium setting (800x600 resolution) for posts to the forum. Click OK and it will resize them. It will create new files that are the resized pictures and leave your originals in tact.
