Nope.. getting close. Lost a lot of time due to the event this weekend.

What I have done: Lower manifold, most injectors, fuel rail modified to fit, heater coolant line modified to fit and bypassed, almost all the fuel system is done and pumps are wired, O2 sensors are in, wiring is layed out and most of it is plugged in.

All I really need to do is get a couple more injectors and some EFI valve covers from my friend and put them on, I'm waiting on a FI fitting and air tube that should be here tomorrow, then just put them on, bolt up the upper manifold, throttle body, MAF and find a good way to mount the computer, fuse block, relays and a couple sensors inside. Then I can fire it!

I'm hoping to make it to the Harland ride next weekend to test it. My real pressure is off now. I was supposed to go to Moab in 3 weeks, but one of the 3 that were going can't go now because of work, then the other guy backed out. So that trip is off. :cry2:

Finished!!

And it sounds freakin sweet with no more exhaust leaks! Now I just need to fix my new gas and coolant leaks

Notice on the pic below that he pulley is spinning! It runs! and in only 2 weeks (not years)

BTW.. It overheated right after I took that pic because I don't have my fan on, and maybe because it's not timed yet

Timing has been set.. It runs Awesome, but there is some kind of issue now.. It's overheating just sitting there idleing! I can let it idle for 5-10 min and it gets over 240!

I've got a couple things I want to try, but I've got other things that have taken priority. Blue Ash finally noticed the inoperable vehicles in my back yard! So, I'm in the process of swapping axles so I can get rid of one of them.

Hey now.. We have 10 vehicles here.. I'm only getting rid of 1. Brian is also moving the CJ since it doesn't have plates yet, but other than that it's legal.

Marc,

I read your post about Propane over on Broncohio, but couldn't post.

Sounds like you might have a wiring issue that is causing the fuel problem.

Another possible solution might be a dirty MAF sensor. I didn't hear what your engine sounds like, but is it cutting out and backfiring through the intake? A dirty MAF will cause that.

Remove the two tamper-proof T20 torx screws from the MAF. CAREFULLY, remove the sensor and clean the sensor wires. They are very delicate, so be careful.

If you decide to go propane, let me know what you do with the intake.
