Gave the jeep a facelift today... Found a treasure in the junkyard!!

I now have a 2 door wagoneer... Very rare!!! :bounce:

Tried to get a trans pan but found out the punch holes in all of the oil and trans pans to drain them before setting them out.. So I guess I'm just going to either buy a new one or bust out the jb weld.

To the shop tomorrow for upper shock and tracbar mounts!!!

Fixed my radio... I must have cut the wire when I was working around the windshield area.

Did leaving that window down make a little mess? :rollinglaugh:

Got it mostly back together again...

New alternator
New power steering pump
New trans case shifter
Fresh painted interior

Still need to get those battery cables fixed... Driving me crazy!

Contemplating putting the battery and the radiator in the rear.

Started a new project... Was going to swap seals and bearings on my rear axle.

One thing leads to another and now it's getting new perches, shock brackets, disc brakes, spool and a truss.

Also pulled the housing to find the bushings in the rear leaf springs are non-existent.

I picked up a NP231 slip eliminator kit, but I might hold on that for a bit. No need to fix what "ain't" broke!!

So breaking a stock dana 44 shaft at Harlan last year has started a chain reaction...

Breaking a 30+ year old stock shaft obviously means that I should skip chromos and directly into 1 tons.

I got to looking and found a pattern that chevy 60s seem to average a lower price... So I happened to stumble on a dana 300 with aw4 adapter/clocking ring and twin shifters. Just picked up tonight for a good deal.

... But wait... There's more!!! I found a chevy 60/14 for an absolute steal with disk brake brackets!!!

Picking up Saturday and then it's back into production mode for a while.

I got 4ds... Haha. Just picked up my axles and the guy gave me bald gumbo 40 tires for rollers. About the size I'm going for so good for fitting.

Pics to come.
